The Rose & Thistle Bed & Breakfast - Antigonish.
The Rose & Thistle Bed & Breakfast - Antigonish

The Rose and Thistle Bed & Breakfast is located in the Highland Heart of Nova Scotia; home of the Antigonish Highland Games which are the longest running games outside of Scotland.  Our ideal location affords easy access to Antigonish and Highway 104.  Steeped in the Highland Scottish traditions; our hospitality is world renowned.

The Rose and Thistle is a modern new West-Coast style home built to take advantage of the magnificent panoramic view surrounding Antigonish Harbour.  Whether it is from the living area or from our forty-two foot deck you will want to stay for more than a day to absorb the incredible beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Eight foot windows in the living room offer a commanding view of Antigonish Harbour, Sugarloaf Mountain, and surrounding hillsides. Spend a few days in the Highland Heart of Nova Scotia, relaxing or taking a hike or day trip.

The following Vacation Packages are available from The Rose & Thistle Bed & Breakfast - Antigonish...

Daytripping around Antigonish

Sherbrooke Village Loop

Leaving the coastal communities of the Sunrise Trail this Loop takes you across country to the Eastern shore. From Highway 104 at Exit 32 you will travel Route 7 through picturesque rolling farmland and beautiful lake shores. On your way, stop at the Ohio turnoff and take a little time to watch the eagles' fish in the shallow waters of Gaspereaux Lake. On entering Sherbrooke follow the signs to the historic Sherbrooke Village Museum. Plan to spend about 3 hours at this wonderful living history museum where special demonstrations are featured throughout the village.
